SEO basics: how to get onto Google's first page

SEO sounds complicated, but the principle is simple: Google wants to show users the best and fastest result. When your website is fast, clear and answers what people are looking for, you’re already halfway there.

Speed and mobile as the foundation

Google favours sites that load quickly and work well on a phone. A slow site, or one broken on mobile, loses both rankings and visitors. That’s why I build sites lightweight and fully responsive from the ground up.

Write about what people search for

A search engine needs to understand what your site is about. Naturally use the words your customers actually type — like “carpenter Olomouc” or “wedding photographer”. Useful content, like this blog, also gives Google more reasons to recommend you.

Patience pays off

SEO isn’t a switch but long-term work. A solid technical foundation, regular content and a clear site structure add up over time. The result is that customers find you on their own — without paying for every click.
