Why is server hosting free?
I build modern presentation sites on static-code principles. These sites do not require complex database computation on the server on every load, so large cloud providers (e.g. Cloudflare) run them on their global network entirely for free. You save thousands a year over classic web hosting.
Who pays the domain fees and where?
You buy the domain yourself from a chosen accredited registrar (I am happy to help and recommend the cheapest ones with no surcharges). The domain is then legally registered to you and you have full control. You pay the domain fee directly to that registrar once a year.
How does payment for the website work?
We firmly set and agree the development price before work begins. Once the site is finished, tested and fully functional, it is handed over and paid for. No deposits upfront and no extra budget increases.
