Why is server hosting free?
I build modern presentation websites using static code principles. These sites do not require complex database queries on a server for each request, which allows large cloud providers (such as Cloudflare) to host them on their global edge networks completely free of charge. This saves you thousands of CZK every year compared to standard hosting subscriptions.
Who pays domain fees and where?
You purchase the domain yourself from a registrar of choice (I will gladly recommend cheap registrars without hidden markups). Thus, the domain is legally owned by you and you remain in complete control. You pay the annual renewal fee directly to the registrar once a year.
How does payment for web development work?
The project rate for development is agreed upon and finalized before we start the work. Once the website is completed, thoroughly tested, and fully operational, we proceed to project handover and payment. No upfront deposits or budget increases.
